The journey of KaraFun, even though it’s taking a new turn with the opening of the first official KaraFun Bar, actually began much earlier.

2005: Recisio was founded in Lille, centered around a karaoke software. With its popularity (KaraFun Player is the most downloaded karaoke software worldwide), Recisio expanded into music production, offering both exclusive content for purchase (karaoke files) and the software to enjoy them.

Fast forward: As the Internet grew, the company began transitioning in 2011 to a subscription-based karaoke service, which includes apps (like the original software, along with mobile and web versions) and, most importantly, a comprehensive catalog.

Today, KaraFun is a team of about twenty people in Lille, offering thousands of studio-recorded tracks and applications for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android to both individuals and professionals. KaraFun is already at the heart of many karaoke bars worldwide (Paris, Los Angeles, Phoenix...).

KaraFun Bar is the culmination of 10 years of work to offer a unique experience, celebrating karaoke and serving as a model for future karaoke bars around the world.
